i used to have this quote on a poster as a kid growing up. i guess, it has always stuck with me and i have used it to help push me. i've always been the kind of guy who let his enthusiasm push me. i'm a good cheer leader and i admit to trying to leave things better than how i find them.
i am making some changes to the blog and it seems now is a good time.
Now quite honestly, if a few people are curious about this little blog, well...truthfully i have been thinking about why i write it. And more importantly....why continue...
After all, work, kids, spouse and training...not in that order....have controlled my time ...also charity, and boy scout den leadering, and rotary, and little league coaching, and....small wonder this doesn't get anytime.
Soooooo,
Fun Guv has asked me to keep writing and i will keep trying, i promise to do a race report tomorrow with all the great and ugly stats and a reflection on the day.
Also, i brief update on the Tri-training....and
the next big and little races in the plan, and will i try for a Bq in the next big run???

I have had the same thoughts about blogs and my enthusiasm comes and goes for it. Glad to hear you are going to continue writing.
Tri-Training??
Write what you want, when you want. For those of us who are shameful at returning phone calls (ahem), the blog is a nice way to keep up-to-date on your doings. When you wax political, it often gives us something new to think about. And, I'm sure that there are folks who are keen to know your running stats. Basically, just...do it when you have the time, and when the muse is upon you. Gotta use that English Lit degree for SOMETHING, right?
RWE is a wealth of quotes. It's like the dude sat around thinking of everything witty, inspirational, thought-provoking etc he could come up with and condensed them into one sentence sound bites for the public. If he was alive now, he'd have the market cornered on T-shirts, coffee mugs, and other kitschy items needing a cool quote. Good thing he's not.
