Race report to follow by Mike himself (once he's able to get off the couch). He has lots of great things to say about this race and definitely wants to share them.

We're still alive!

Sorry no one's been around lately...Mike has found a new on-line obsession...Facebook! I swear he's become addicted to it; any spare moment he has is spent there. Find him on there and ask to be his friend, he'd love to throw some octopi at you or pass you a round of drinks...he's good at that.

In other news....

The marathon is now less than a week away, and not trying to speak for Mike (but I will, sort of) he's not ready for this one. Personally, I think he'll finish, just not with a BQ time. He's had absolutely no time to get out and run. Almost every night the last 2 weeks he's gotten home from work between 8:30 and 9:00...it's fall, it's getting dark at 7:30 now. Plus he's mentally exhausted when he gets home, this whole stock market ride has him on his toes all day long. From what I've been seeing, he's just not really feeling it right now either. Plus, we still don't have the Garmin fixed, I'd send it out but he's got all that info stashed away somewhere. Hopefully he'll get out of this funk, the stock market will knock it off and running Mike will be back at it in full swing.

We'll see if Mike can come on and offer up his pre-race feelings...
